Svensk Flygambulans
Svensk Flygambulans (SFA) works on behalf of Swedish county councils performing emergency medical transportation and is fully accredited as both an aviation company and a medical company.
Its fleet consists of three Beech Super King Air 200 aircrafts. The on-board crew usually consists of two pilots and one nurse anesthetist who work together as a team. The medical expertise within Svensk Flygambulans is exceptional, both in terms of its equipment and personnel.
The majority of Svensk Flygambulans’ work consists of pre-ordered transports (approx. 95%). The remaining five per cent is emergency transportation.
SFA is currently in the process of being integrated in the Scandinavian Air Ambulance.
